Serre de la Madone Botanical Garden was created between 1924 and 1958 by major Lawrence Johnston, the designer of the wonderful Hidcote Manor Garden in England.
The Garden covers an hill area of over 9 hectares divided into several themed terraces supported by low stone walls. It is a unique landscape featuring a wide variety of exotic and rare plants from all over the world located between pools and statues combined with local Mediterranean vegetation.

The tour of the garden is not suitable for people with ambulation problems because of the numerous staircases.
Animals are not allowed.
 Serre de la Madone Botanical Garden is easily accessible by bus, line 7 stop Azur Park Serre de la Madone (50m from the garden)
Closed in November, December 25th and January 1st.
April-October: from 10am to 6pm
December-March: from 10am to 5pm
Closed on Mondays

Guided visits in French every day from 3pm. On Tuesdays and Fridays visits are guided by Menton tourist guides.
