Maria Serena Botanical Garden is inside the splendid Maria Serena mansion, built in 1886 by Charles Garnier, the famous architect who designed Paris Opera.
Created in “Little Africa” quarter, at the border of the town, Maria Serena Botanical Garden covers an area of over 3 hectares and it is known as the most mild garden in France. It exhibits a wide collection of palm trees, cycas and tropical plants in a unique open greenhouse.
