The Corniches

The  Corniches are among the most picturesque coastal roads in the world. They stretch for over 30km from Menton to Nice and offer breathtaking panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding landscapes.
The Corniches are divided into:

• La Corniche Inférieure: is the old coastal road which starts from Cap Martin to Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the wonderful Cap Ferrat promontory, the picturesque port of Saint-Jean and the charming village of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
• La Moyenne Corniche: excavated in the rock, it links Beausoleil to Nice passing across the picturesque and romantic village of Eze.
• La Grande Corniche: the highest and most spectacular coastal road in France is located along the ancient Roman road. It starts from the charming medieval village of Roquebrune to Menton, Monte Carlo, La Turbie, where there is the massive outline of the  Trophée des Alpesed, and Nice. Here visitors can enjoy an amazing visit of the Observatory in Mont Gros.
