The wonderful Island Ile du Panier, which boasts one of the biggest lighthouses in Europe, features a marvelous diving site reaching a maximum depth of 15m where divers can admire ancient wrecks grounded in the sandy seafloor:

 

  • The wreck of the Chaouen, a big Moroccan cargo boat sunk in 1970 at a depth between 3m and 26m. Also suitable for beginners.
  • The wreck of the Dalton, steamship sunk in 1928 at a depth between 15m to 32m. Dive is especially suitable for trained and experienced divers . The wreck is completely covered with colorful sea fans.
  • The wreck of a Messerschmitt plane, ancient German war plane shoot down in 1944. The wreck lies at a depth of 45m and is especially suitable for trained and experienced divers.
